That's TWICE Now....

These Yankees are unbelievable. They all need to be signed up for "Hooked on Phonics" and fast. Last night, for the second time in my life, while eating out I ordered iced tea, no lemon. We were in a mexican restaurant across the street - Senor Lucky's. The woman looked at me quizzicly and asked, "Asti?" No, yankee, IIIIced Teeeeea. Do you put lemon in your Asti normally????

The first time this happened to me was shortly after Mark and I got married. My (Sullivan) family held a wedding dinner for us at a place there in Toledo where they live. The lady asked me what I wanted to drink and, yes, I ordered an iced tea. She said, "I'm sorry - we don't sell that by the glass - only in a magnum." At first, I'm thinking these are some seriously messed up tea drinkers....Mark and I looked at each other and then realized what she was thinking.

Quite funny and yet, amazingly enough, this issue had never come up for me until I moved north of the Mason-Dixon line....coincidence? I think not.

Ahhhhh - Another day in the life of Princess Okiemoe....so tough to be me. Even tougher for those not fortunate enough to be me. LOL!!!
